Designed for: New hired petrophysicist, geologists, geophysicists and reservoir, petroleum, drilling engineers whose job requires a more extensive knowledge of Petrophysical engineering Data management staff, who is handling and loading digital log data.

- Reservoir rock properties.
- Discussions on tools will include advantage, disadvantage, physics of each tool was built    and calibration.
- Lithology and porosity determination.
- Introduction to Resistivity, Induction measurements.
- Coring and Core analysis.
- Petrophysical parameters evaluation from core and log data.
- Basic interpretation concepts.
- Introduction to saturation, Archie's equation.
- Permeability determination from logs and cores.
- Quick Look interpretation using basic methods and cross-plots.
- Output parameters of Open-Hole log Interpretation.
- Log quality control on tool measurements (log readings).and data handling.
- Curve Editing (depth matching, despiking, splicing and multiple run merge).
- Practice application on Data-Base creation and loading of digital raw and result data, output core parameters, scanned or    digitized data of different format using Interactive Petrophysics (IP) software.
- Practice application examples for curve editing using IP software.
